About Us
The Golden Acres Adult Day Health Care Center was established on September 1, 1998. As a Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS), Golden Acres’ goal is to maintain the frail elderly or those over eighteen (18) with severe medical or physical impairments, who are at risk for premature institutionalization or hospitalization, to remain in their own community and preferably in their homes, as long as it is medically, socially and economically feasible.
Eligibility
Our participants are at least 18 year of age who suffer from chronic physical or mental impairments including Alzheimer’s Disease or any form of dementia, Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Mental retardation, Brain injury, Stroke survivor, Schizophrenia, Diabetes, Chronic hypertension, and/or those who are in need of rehabilitation services to maintain or improve their level of functioning.
To participate in the program, a person can either be referred by a physician, family members, friends, caregivers, social workers, or even by themselves. Contact us to get started.

7:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Cost
Our services are covered by: LA Care, Health Net, Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser Permanente, Molina, Care 1st, Medi-Cal, Regional Center, SCAN, Brand New Day or Private Pay.
